Arbutus Ridge works with you, our customer, to find IT driven ways of making your business run more smoothly. Our customers are small business owners who recognise the difference between working for their business and making the business work for them. They also recognise that if the business depends on one or two key people being there all of the time, the business’s growth and therefore its value is being held back. As a result, everything we do at Arbutus Ridge is about helping you develop improvements to the systems and processes on which you need to rely.
How we do it
To ensure you get demonstrable results, Arbutus Ridge invests time in helping you plan your improved systems. In particular, we focus on specific business issues and look for ways of addressing them.
Arbutus Ridge does not represent any software or hardware vendor and we do not take a commission on any kit that happens to be required. As a result, we are happy to help you get the most of the kit you already have.

Once the project is well planned, we work with you to get both the technical and human elements of the system functioning properly. Often this involves a few days training, which is included in the overall Jumpstart™ service. If you also feel you need a little help and support along the way, we can do that too. In all cases, you will receive a fixed price in advance with no strings attached.
Our promise to you
To ensure your peace of mind, we are happy to you offer this promise. We will:
- Quote you a fixed-price in advance – you won’t pay more if it takes us longer than we thought to complete the work
- Not lock you in to a long term contract. You may cancel your service agreement with just one month’s notice if you decide it’s not for you
- Respond to your queries before the end of the next business day
- Provide regular updates on your project’s status
- Hold a review of your project on completion. This ensures that you are getting what you wanted from your Jumpstart package.
- Complete the project to your satisfaction, or we will refund our service fee for that package

Our team has been building better systems for many years. In addition to over 40 years of practical experience, all of our senior staff have post-graduate degrees in business (i.e. an MBA) or information technology (i.e. an M.Sc.).
